Community Gardens

Edenhaven will acquire property through both purchase and donation that are within the direct city limits for the purpose of creating community gardens. Members of the community may also loan on a donation basis part of their property including trees and gardens for the purpose of cultivating a harvest for the non-profit and community crop share.

· Everyone from the community may freely harvest from the garden, regardless of ability to work in the garden.

· Everyone from the community is welcome on garden property.

· Everyone from the community is welcome to cultivate, plant, and otherwise work in the community gardens freely.

· Any excess harvest will be sold at farmers markets or given to neighboring communities who may have a need for the harvest. Any financial profit gained from the harvest will be used to purchase seeds or gardening supplies for the following season.
